Berean Baptist Church History
We are a fundamental independent Baptist Church that began in May of 2003 through a burdened placed upon the heart and spirit of Pastor Darren Dusher by the Lord of Glory. We held our first service in our dining room in September 2003 and moved to our garage by November of that same year. By September 2004, God had led us to a storefront building on South 27th Street that we were privileged to meet in until May 2005 when we bought our first building on West Main Street.
God allowed us to see great growth at this location with two remodeling projects and a building addition to accommodate the growing church attendance. In August 2010, the Lord worked yet another tremendous blessing. We sold our West Main building and meet in a local elementary school until November 2010 when we purchased our current location on Wilson Avenue from a church group who was moving to another location.
Through the past 23 years, God has brought so many people through our doors. We have seen many saved and baptized. He has allowed us the joy of sending two church planters out from us, and we are honored to support 20 home and foreign missionary projects.
